Two things about this brush stand out. First is the amount of fibres in the knot - it's not my first 26mm knot, but I was surprised by how thick and dense this feels. Second, the tips are soft of course - but when I first splayed it into my hand after opening the package, I was amazed by how soft the insides of the fibres felt, something I've not felt on any other synth brush I own (and I own a lot of them from various manufacturers). At that point, I knew it was going to be something special, and having now used it, it is. It just feels so luxurious on your face. I now own 14 Yaqi synths - not quite one of every currently available knot as I don't have a Pony knot because I am waiting for the Rainbow handle to come back in stock - and though the Dandelion Cashmere is probably still my favourite Yaqi brush, this is one amazing brush. At only $20, it is insane value for money and I am surprised that no one else has yet reviewed it.
