This Closed Comb YAQI Head gives you a Medium Shave Profile or 4-5/10, allowing you to get a close but accurate shave.

Poor manufacture andQC
It was obvious upon inspection that the installed head was slightly bent and though attached the angle on each side was the same. I threw it out. Handle appears to be great - haven’t tried the mellon head. Using bought brushes from Y that are great will not buy from them anymore

I recently made the change from expensive, multiblade razors to old style safety razors in an effort to make keeping my beard trimmed a more accurate affair with the added advantage that, when I cut myself (due to rushing my shave) I only end up with one small cut, not 3 to 5 parallel cuts. I have never liked the snail-trail forming "lubricating strips" or the stupid "safety wires", which just give you a less close shave. Then I discovered YAQI! The 3 head set is a wonder of shaving loveliness, allowing accuracy of blade placement and smoothness of shave, giving rise to neat, sharp beard edges and cheeks my wife just loves to touch(!). The set has a decent weight, and the handle is the perfect length. I usually use the medium head, but if I need my shave to last longer, I'll opt for the more aggressive head. A quality product and excellent investment. When I need a new brush, I know where I'll be getting it.

Excellent quality and shave
I have tried all 3 heads they all shave great. Personally love the dual open comb the most. Blades lock in perfect with no wiggle. Great weight to the razor as well. I would recommend to a novice or expert double edge shaver.

This is a great razor good quality and good value it allows you to adjust your shave from a mild for everyday to aggressive once a week shave Also can be adjusted for whatever type of shave you fancy.by mixing up the 3 base plates and 3 heads Like I said excellent razor for any shave you want
