The metal has some very minor scratching and pitting. A very cool straight razor that epitomises the DIXIE name. The scales are in really nice shape, the blade moves smoothly and closes centred. Jimps on the bottom shank.

A true collectors straight razor, mostly sold through mail order and offered customers a free trial of the razor with no payment...in the US it was known as a "working mans" razor. The DIXIE Manufacturing Company in Georgia certainly regarded their product and factory as the best available.
